LR Sketch Play: Birds and Fairy
Sharing another recent sketch, I never know what my next subject will be. I love the freedom of just wandering and pausing and capturing an image before moving on.
Definitely not masterpieces! However, these small sketches represent that freedom. And they contrast and give balance to the hecticness of my work life and some challenges in my personal life. I mentioned in a past post that my husband survived cancer four times. In between, there have been other health issues. Friday, he’ll be having surgery to repair his lungs. My husband is a fighter, a survivor, a positive force, a hard-worker. I’m still learning how to battle fear.

Thanks! I fight to be brave. Life has its challenges for each of us and those challenges can be soooo difficult.
There is such a lightness to your sketches, even as you face fears, Linda. I am holding you and your husband in my thoughts and heart.
Thanks, Robin. The surgery went very well this morning. Now, the recovery………
I beg to differ – these are indeed masterpieces of your amazing creativity.
Thank you for the boost of confidence. I’ll look again at my small paintings with new eyes.

The positive energy made a difference. To me, I didn’t feel alone.
