Altered Colors

Here’s a quote from Emily Bronte:  “I have dreamed in my life,
dreams that have stayed with me
ever after, and changed my ideas;
they have gone through and through me,
like wine through water,
and altered the color of my mind.”

And my thoughts:  I am tired tonight but it was my goal to post something and here I am struggling to think of what to write….The color of my mind has changed many times over the years.  Life has thrown challenge after challenge but survival forces growth, and I have come to respect the process of change.  There are gifts to be found:  discipline, self-knowledge, love…..and I still have hope for the future.

  1. ‘The color of my mind has changed many times over the years.” That’s a really nice phrase. 🙂
