The Spirit Within

Enthusiasm is the spirit within!  I work everyday to keep my kernel of creativity flamed.  It is a fire deep inside that inspires all my actions.   Daily care can range from 15 minutes to an hour, sometimes more, BUT multiplied over years, it becomes an investment in myself.    Education is an investment in oneself and worth the time, the money, the effort.

True that. Creativity is a muscle that must be exercised. Use it or lose it!

    I love blue horses!

    • You are so right about the discipline and daily workout. I’ve drawn every day for the past year and am finally moving to a new level of skill. I forgot to mention that the horse was inspired by Quentin Blake, although his was grey and his rider had a very long nose!

I love blue horses, too, especially big old work horses with fringe around the hooves. Such joy in your watercolor!
Thanks for the reminder to show up at the art table/writer’s tablet for even a few minutes each day.
p.s. my pink peonies are in full bloom and showing off their yellow frilly centers–lovely.
