Ahania – a poem

Ahania by LR

Spinning, moving, on the beach,
moonlight path illuminates.
My shadow dances.

Night’s cathedral begins to dim,
as dawn’s first light appears.
Ahania, you are separate but not alone.

Running, chasing, the seagulls fly.
Horse and rider canter.
Paintbrush glides across the canvas.
A free mind wanders.

Colors, brilliant,
shine with shades of blue and green.
The world’s bright with life.

Ahania, soul, fresh and unburdened,
bring forth creative grace.
A new story to chase.

    • There is a story behind my use of the name Ahania…I borrowerd the name from one of William Blakes mythological stories. He created his own mythology. I’ll write more about the writing of that poem in the future.
