Little Doll

Sometimes goals find me.  Several weeks ago I saw this little doll at an antique mall shop.  I wasn’t looking for a doll, didn’t need a doll, didn’t want another doll.   HOWEVER, this doll kept calling out to me, “Take me home. Take me home.”  And I found myself dreaming about this doll.  Finally, after four visits and a bit of negotiating I have an inexpensive, old doll with the sweetest expression, sitting patiently waiting for some repairs and a new set of clothes.   And I am on a historical hunt….

  2. I swear dolls choose us sometimes, instead of the other way around. I have two old Barbie Dolls that begged me to take them home and fix them up. 🙂

    This doll is so cute and I can’t wait to see how she turns out.
