Blog Anniversary – April

April is my blog anniversary month!!  One year to my credit!  I remember my uncertainty and hesitation when I first booted Wings of Wonder on to the airways.  I remember the joy and sense of accomplishment I felt.   Art and joy fueled those early posts.  Monthly themes emerged:  Joy, Art, Quotes, Writing Projects, Sentence Structure, Blocks to Creativity and overcoming those Blocks.  I had a year’s worth of watercolor sketches before starting my blog, and two specific sketchbooks developed over those early months of blogging:  Take Joy and Sketch Play.   Here’s a few images from those early blogs:

Since I shifted my focus to organizing in January, my blog has limped along.  It waits patiently for me to spend more time.   My writing calls out to me, my paintbrush waits to put color to the page.  Patience!

Once I get through my dark-night-of-the-soul organizing, I will be writing more.   I have a list of ideas, I have more art to share.    I want to share art tutorials, color studies, drawing lessons.  I want to share my process as I write the first draft of a novel.  I look to the future with hope!
