Writing Journey Mid-Week

Writing Journey continues….this is my choice…but…the rest of life does not stop to give me time…I’m waking at 3 a.m but know I can’t get up that early and still give my best at my day job…so doze, look at the clock, doze, look at the clock, I finally make it to 5:30 or 6 and feel very groggy-headed…but, remember, this is my choice.

I reinstate my commitment to write everyday in October and to reach 25,000 words.

Do you believe in symbolism, in the metaphor sense-of-the-word?
I hear thunder and rain and lightning outside.  I didn’t even know a storm was expected, we haven’t had rain for six months or longer, and it sounds like a torrential downpour.  Just saw a flash of lighting and thunder right after.  I think this storm is going over my head.   Back to the symbolism,  I will focus on the SURPRISE of this storm, not the “day was dark and stormy.”

i knew it was supposed to rain today but the early morning thunder caught me by surprise too. When I can’t sleep I design stuff in my head, or tell myself stories. Take joy! M

    • If I have creative ideas in my head, I’ll never go back to sleep. When that happens I get up and write or draw them down so I won’t lose the thoughts. What a beautiful day it has turned out to be!!!!!!!!!! so fresh!
