Something Playful

Inspired by Marjorie PricemanFrom one of my sketchbooks, the one I call Sketch Play, these images were inspired by Marjorie Priceman.

“Keeping a sense of play in one’s life may keep me young.”  That’s my thought for today.  Enjoy!

Linda Ruddy is a creative with a diverse range of interests in writing and painting. She currently is revising a middle grade novel, and author and illustrating a picture story book. She is an active member of SCBWI, Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators. Linda has a body of paintings, which form the foundation of her artistic development.     It’s so true “you are only as old as you make up in your mind to be”.. being playful opens the mind to wonderous things! Cheers!

    This would make a cool pattern for fabric!

    • I actually borrowed the ideas from another artist as I was attempting to teach myself to be more playful. But you are right, the pattern would be great on fabric!
