Life Changes

Feather variety I was on one path setting goals to move me along and then I got a phone call… “am I interested in a short term, part time job with the School District.”  I jumped at the opportunity.  Just like that, my life changed.  I begin work in two weeks.

I’ll be a member of a team, traveling to all the high schools in the District.  There will be a learning curve for all members, which is a relief since I’ve never done this type of work before.

All kinds of things are going through my mind about tasks to prepare.

What time will I need to leave?  Set my alarm every day – 6am or 6:30 am?

What clothes are appropriate?  I’ve been dressing too casual.  Went shopping and got a few new things – all on Sale!

New Shoes – my old tennis shoes are comfortable, but I’ve worn them every day for a year.  I found some new black ones.

Still would like to get a hair cut, clean my home, prepare easy meals to freeze.

Anyway, lots of practical things to do.  I am so excited to undertake a new challenge.
I’ll work February to May and hopefully get my foot in the door for other employment.
Wish me luck…LR
