NEW website

lr-8-x-10-_2-webAnnouncement:  new website:   www.lindaruddyart.com

As part of my journey with technology, I have designed a website with the help of “OtherPeoplesPixels”.  And there is a reason, I submitted an application for an Art Residency in 2019 and I needed a place to show my best work.

I consider this a Portfolio website versus a selling website, although I have greeting cards and will, in the near future make prints, of several of my best paintings.  But that involves more technology and I have to decide which ones to print.

Please visit my website and check it out.  I am taking a vote on favorite paintings.

Please let me know your three favorite paintings.  The name comes up when you toggle over the art.   Is the site easy to navigate?  Any comments will be appreciated.

Thanks.  LR

Linda, hello! Love seeing all you new paintings. I especially liked “Time to Rise” and “Memories of a Dancer”

One small thing, I noticed that the jpgs were quite large and took a while to load, over 2MBs. An easy way to make them smaller is to put them in an email and select “large” or “medium” in the pull down menu. Then mail the images to yourself. It will cut the size of your images in half while maintaining the quality. (call me if you have any questions) Hugs and love, Marilyn.

    Hi Linda!

First, congrats on your new “portfolio” website. It was easy to find and navigate. I have no constructive ideas at this time for you on this site.

My (and my mom’s) favorites are (in no particular order)…

Daughters of the Earth The Dreamer Time to Rise

Hope you are well… My grandson Tyler has been visiting since Mothers Day, and Logan flew in last night for a few days. I will take Tyler home (to Tulare) next week. Afterwards, when things settle and I get rested, let’s do lunch!

    XOXO Lynne

    • Thanks for responding Lynne. I have moved to a warmer palette and use of turquoise. Dreamer was a surprise – purple and yellow. Glad you are enjoying time with your grandson. Yes, I would love to catch up.

Congratulations! This is great! Hovering the cursor over the title wouldn’t take me to the website. But I was able to copy and paste to get there. I especially like Native Land and The Dreamer. Good luck!
