2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 3,600 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 60 trips to carry that many people.

In the world of blogging I’m a small fish in a giant fishbowl.  But, I am proud of my success.  Starting my own personal blog accomplished a goal I could only dream about for the past four or five years.  2011, a year to remember – I did it!!

My thanks go to visitors, commentors, and followers.  I needed the encouragement.

Wonderful things start small. Your blog is so lovely that it is just a matter of time before your peeps find you. You’ll see! Looking forward to a million times that amount in the years ahead.

    Big hugs,

  3. I just love your blog and I’m so happy you keep sharing your artistic gift. 🙂 Congratulations on your success in 2011!

    • Believe it or not, there was a time I did not appreciate my gift. Maybe it was my inner critic saying I’m wasting my time, making no money, etc. etc. all those negative thoughts…BUT I kept at it and actually had an explosive burst in 2010 and I don’t want to let go of it. PS. I found your comment in spam and don’t know why that happened….
